The Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria will hold its 2022 First Quarter General Meeting in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital on Saturday, 2nd April, 2022.
During the meeting, the Speakers from the 36 States of the Country will discuss issues of states and national concern as well as the ongoing amendment of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The meeting will be presided over by the Chairman of the Conference and Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y Suleiman.
While in Oyo, the Speakers will pay courtesy visit to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde and Council of traditional rulers of the State.
The host, Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Adebo Edward Ogundoyin, has concluded all arrangements for the success of the meeting.
