The Conference of Speakers of the State Legislatures of Nigeria, in collaboration with the Office of the Hon. Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, organized a national discourse on the topic of good governance at the sub-national level.
The event brought together the Speakers of all 36 state legislatures, as well as a diverse group of policymakers, civil society leaders, and governance experts from across the country. The aim was to facilitate a comprehensive dialogue on the challenges and best practices in ensuring effective and accountable governance at the state and local government levels.
